Reaching Our Dreams... One Book at a Time
My grandson Seth, who has a spinal cord injury from an accident when he was 19 years old, has been studying graphics and 3-D art at West Valley College in Saratoga for a few years. He enjoys dabbling in the arts and creates some fantastic Facebook banners and other art for people. He is great at anime too.
He recently decided to go pro and sell his art to individuals at very economical rates. He specializes in FB covers, but will create what you wish. Contact him by message on his Facebook page. Following are some samples of his covers:
My great-grandson Devon as created by Seth. Devon loves Spiderman!
Seth James self-portrait - anime.
Seth designed this for Cousin Christopher's dog Nos.
Seth's first customer, Entrepreneur John Manha.
Following are some varied works by Seth, from horror to rough anime...
We hope you like Seth's work and give him a chance to do something for you. He can't work outside the home at present, so would like to get a little graphics business going. You can message him on Facebook or if you would like his e-mail address, let me know on my FB page. Thanks, friends. Love you all. - Betty Dravis

Sorry it took so long to get back to The Betty Awards; have received many requests to “get on with it.” I’ve just been so busy writing another blog for Dames of Dialogue and trying to pull all the material together for my next book… Well, most of you know how busy we authors keep… Besides that, my computer was down for almost two weeks.
Even Cousin Oscar is getting impatient with me, telling me he’s going to tell Grammy on me… And I wouldn’t want to make her mad. I guess I’m stirring up a lot of the competition. Even Tony and Cleo e-mailed me, trying to get me to tell them who the winners in Act 3 are and who would be doing the presenting… Fat chance of that! I know they’d run right to their media sources and try to scoop me…
But the day finally arrived and this evening we honored more deserving artists. Our presenters for Act 3 are among Hollywood’s elite, Actor James Zimbardi and Procuder Woodrow Wilson Hancock III. They did a marvelous job, adding dignity, grace and humor to the show. Speaking of shows, Zimbardi’s latest role is in a hilarious comedy movie titled Man Life Crisis, which he also produced along with Hancock. Zimbardi and Hancock are in film festivals until October with their film Waking and are in post-production on a project called Watertown. Both have more projects in the works and will keep us posted.
Zimbardi and Wilson were pleased to see Armand Mastroianni--the acclaimed director of Man Life Crisis and many Hollywood blockbusters—in the audience to cheer them on. He was accompanied by renowned Producer Ed Polgardy who co-produced Dark Desire which Armand also directed. Polgardy is owner of Black Hat Magic Productions and President of Production for Fotocomics Productions in Hollywood. We can expect more films from him and Mastroianni in the near future.
Among our other surprise guests, I’d like to introduce my special new friends. They’re wonderful fans from the great state of Ohio, my birthplace. Seven of these eight ladies are members of The LOLAS (Lifetime of Laughs and Sisterhood) Book Club. They hail from Westchester, Ohio and have been friends from twenty to twenty-five years. They blew my mind when club member Annette Przygocki organized a tour of the places mentioned in my epic romantic thriller 1106 Grand Boulevard which is set around my childhood home in Hamilton, Ohio, about ten miles from Westchester. When Annette messaged me on Facebook to inform me, she told me they loved the book. That pleased me, of course, but I was overwhelmed about them visiting my childhood home and other hometown sites. Unbelievable…unless you are a Hemingway or a Faulkner! In fact, I enjoyed the taste of what it would be like to be a celebrated author with a legacy that lives on… Thanks, LOLAS. Needless to say, LOLAS is now my favorite Book Club.
And that’s exactly what James Zimbardi told the audience tonight when he presented the first award. Woodrow Wilson Hancock must have agreed with my choices because he gave his 60-watt smile each time he opened an envelope and handed it to his co-presenter.
